I know, 1 second error but it makes all the difference as further explained below. You'll first want to get your regular lap time (not the joker lap) under 40 seconds, preferably 37-38. Obviously it should be set to wet conditions.
DIRT RALLY 2.0 PSVR TRIAL
I suggest practicing on time trial mode with assists on (exterior view + automatic transmission). Improving skill: If you're like me and not a huge racing game player and/or don't use a wheel, you're likely going to need to practice in order to unlock this trophy. It is absolutely true and this guide is centered around that track. As most guides will point out, the Hell, Norway track is the easiest place to do this. After a few hours of getting absolutely nowhere, I realized I was just not skilled enough to do it on any given track. Racetrack: At first, I attempted this trophy on track that I personally felt I could be better at.

I don't know if it's the most effective, but it was to give me a "guideline" to avoid "panicking" when changing gears and it worked well.
DIRT RALLY 2.0 PSVR MANUAL
I don't know if that can help you but I did the following since it was almost my first time with manual transmission:Īs you approach a turn, be in 4th gear (downshift from 5th if needed) while braking significantly (you won't need to get there so fast), stop braking, use the handbrake while turning suddenly, start accelerating afterwards for sliding and once the slide is almost over, downshift into 3rd gear to regain power, then go back into 4th, then 5th. In this race, you may only have to navigate between 3rd, 4th and 5th gears (except at the start of course). If not, start again and take the joker lap when everyone else has already done so (probably the 4th or 5th lap). Starting first may allow you to lead the whole race if you manage the start and the first turn.
DIRT RALLY 2.0 PSVR HOW TO
Maybe you should consider yourself ready for the final on manual if you are and start in first place like I did at that point, meaning you know the track and how to deal with it. Personally, I managed to dominate the qualifiers and the semi-final (thanks to the automatic transmission and the camera).

Logically in the pit, you don't have to touch anything, just start the race. Same settings for the race but just before the end I switched on manual transmission and cockpit view (in the last turn in my case, I had a certain lead over my opponents and I had time to be sure I had chosen the right view). I used all assists off (because I used to), hardcore damage on, but with automatic transmission and exterior view. In addition to natchnatty's guide, I tried to cross-reference the different guides to try something and it worked.
